I think '17 December 2004 - Tom Middleton, Medicine8' was one of the first I went to. I remember Middleton playing that famous whistling sample by Air and thinking "this is fucking amazing!".

'18.2.06 - Undercover - Evil Nine' was when I discovered Evil 9. I remember asking some woman sitting in the stairwell who was "undercover" and the response I got was "Evil 9. Isn't that the best thing ever?!" or something. I had no idea who they were and subsequently bought all of their albums the day after.

I remember seeing 'People Get Real' at Fez and I cant see it...

Maddoz at Fez was fucking brilliant. As was Booka Shade and my first ever UG; Alex Smoke...

Sasha was pretty much the best for me though.

Looking through all those nights just shows what a success it has been. If I ever have half the success as UG I would be well happy.

As I am a relatively new Steel City resident I didn’t become a devout UG follower until 10.2.07 – Slam. But am pretty sure I didn’t miss one since then…

Highlights for me were Timo Maas, One+One and Sasha!

Wish I had been around for 18.3.06 - Booka Shade Live, 24.3.06 - Dave Clarke, Nathan Fake, 09 December 2005 - Tiefschwarz, Krafty Kuts, Vandal, Matt Tolfrey.

As James put, even half the success of UG would make me a happy man. Mark you did an amazing job and left a firm dent in Sheffield’s clubbing heritage!

Would only be fair for me to take a fraction of the credit really. Couldn't have done it without James, Tom & Mike + all the residents and flyerers (including yourself Ant) who helped out over the years.
